Fantastic post, Ryan. I really agree with your first point "Marketing has always been Content Marketing", that's so true when you really think about it. You actually have to have some sort of content to even market at all-it's pretty much the basis of marketing in a nutshell. Thanks for sharing this post with over at BizSugar. I guess I don't consider SEO a marketing strategy. SEO is something you do to create good content marketing... Neil Patel is an excellent content marketer.

Thanks for the Vote Ryan. "Marketing has always been content marketing" is a bold statement but I think its one that more and more people are starting to realize is true. Famous bloggers like Neil Patel have said that they have only ever done content marketing and haven't actually went out of their way to do SEO
