This is so important. I beat my head against the wall for years wondering why I wasn't getting traction. It is so much easier for a small business to capture a little piece of really loyal client-base in a big market, compared to trying to elbow bigger companies in a small space.

Great article! Important stuff. All small businesses or start-ups should read.

It is tempting to just think of the big numbers and it is a trap. Even if you don't know the actual number of people you have a need, by estimating you make it more realistic and avoid some disappointment.
