Although Facebook shocked the world with the 1 billion dollar acquisition just three weeks ago, the Instagram buzz is still going strong. According to Macstories, the app has nearly 30 million registered users who are uploading around 5 million photos each day. This makes Instagram one of the hottest new picture-taking tools available.

I haven't tried Instagram yet, but I'm gearing up to do so. One of the problems I have with the idea of it is that I like to think, consider, before just sharing photos. To me, sharing photos is more personal in some ways than text, and it's important to be equated with images that speak to who one is. I've never been one to share stuff in such a knee-jerk fashion, however I'd like to have more info on the potential and actual uses of Instagram. Interesting. Thanks!
