I would add to #5 - Be valuable, authentically. I know that word is a real buzz word these days, but if your value is not genuine and meaningful, people will see through that, even on platforms like twitter.
What would I consider that I haven't done before? #1 perhaps, Be An Evangelist, and having thought about it, I am involved with so many communities on 3 different platforms, I see this as very difficult for me.
