Do you ever stop to think about those old post’s that you’ve written…you know those ones back in the early days when you were less of a seasoned professional?

I’d bet there’s a few gems in there that you could breathe some new life into, and get some fresh eyeballs on that work of yours.

I know when I look back at some of my old posts I cringe a little at the writing. The ideas in themselves are sound, so it makes sense to go back and do a little remodelling.

Those old posts should be what's getting visitors to stay on your site and explore. Without them you'd really only be as good as your last post. You sort of are, anyway, but a good, easy to access archive encourages readers to hang around and become bigger fans.

So true, so true, about those old posts. If you build them right they will become a source of evergreen content.

What a brilliant post Jackie - especially as this is something I was thinking of doing recently. I hadn't thought of all the extras I could do with my old posts though so I'm bookmarking this post to check back on when I get to revamp them. Thanks for sharing on Bizsugar.com
