Interesting post. I'm an avid user or social media and it's one of my top traffic referrers to my blog. I used to shy away from social media but during the recent relaunch of my blog, it's proven to me it's amazing power. Social media marketing is all about building relationships and connecting with people. After all, "people" is all that social media is made up of any way. Once you've mastered your people skills and create great engaging content, it's all down hill from there. Thanks for sharing your insights with our BizSugar community. I appreciate it.

I understand your previous skepticism as I've come across people who have thought the same. They may have just dipped their toe into Social Media - a few updates here and there - and nothing came of it so they give up and say it doesn't work. Social Media takes time, creativity and engagement like you mentioned. I'm a believer already :) Thanks for sharing on Bizsugar.com
