great tips Shannon. On my birthday last December I made a post on Google+ to help small business owners with free SEO audits and strategy. I genuinely helped without trying to up sell, that post led to a lot of business owners adding me to their circles and messaging me to say hello.

Being kind is indeed very necessary when it comes to marketing a business. You must include kindness into your marketing plan so as to make it a very successful one. Thanks for sharing this with the bizsugar community.
