You’re right about one thing, Elisabeth. Freebies are a sure way to grab the public's attention. For my money, free food is one of the best approaches. Unlike tote bags and pencils which can be picked up and taken along only to later be discarded (I've picked up tons of items with company names on them at events and really can't remember the names of any of the businesses that handed them out), food makes people pause and sometimes offers you a chance to enter into a brief conversation with them. There are many companies vying for the attention of often tired and overloaded trade show attendees. Be the one they remember--even if it's for that amazing California Roll. :) Thanks for sharing this post with the BizSugar community.
