Ivan: This summer I took a blog break, vacation, and working on a new online business venture, at the same time! Most of old clients and potential new clients are away during July - August. I will send some email messages this and next week as a preparation for the start of the new semester / season! I have also booked a couple of podcast interviews, and I am starting a new show with a co-host this autumn, so we are preparing for that.

Martin,

I usually use the slow times to contact old clients - just to say hi and see whether I can help them with anything. I also connect - and re-connect - with PR agencies, to see how I can help them get the words out for their clients.

It's all about nurturing relationship, really...
