A Wonderful post Warren.

When we elicit the thought process in others, and they come up with ideas themselves (even if somewhat cleverly planted) that person is much more likely to go along with any plans made and be included in objectives accomplished.

It's simple human nature, if our idea is acted on we feel cherished, respected, listened to and validated. This results in effectiveness all around, and much happier teams :)

Authenticity wins out - every time. I will leave the debate about a Manager assuming to also be a "Leader" for another day :)
