You're right in that join.me and Skype are also great, although these are not specific online meeting tools. The three mentioned in the article aim to offer something beyond great tools like join.me and Skype that add to the experience of an online meeting. Give them a go, they can all compliment Skpe particularly very well.

What about join.me? I use this online meeting tool regularly, although there is not much face time, there's also skype.

Teepu: It is funny you mention Join.me. I learned about this tool sometime ago and we will have a training with next week during a webinar. I didn't manage to download it on my MacBook, but I have installed the iPhone app.
