It's always a good idea to challenge assumptions, not only when walking into a new business situation, but now and again, to remain fresh. It's tempting to walk into a role, clean and set up house, and function on autopilot from there on in. Asking "Why do we do this?" periodically is a great way clean out the cobwebs and adapt to rapidly changing situations--to be agile. Great post!
