Great post. This kind of partnership is all about leveraging resources and, while it certainly is a good idea to carefully examine more extensive agreements, there's no need to over think the simpler and more obvious collaborations like promoting each others' tweets and blog posts and appearing as guest bloggers on each others' sites. If a couple of small business owners with complimentary products and services can do these kinds of things for one another on a regular basis, all should come out ahead.
