Distinguish Truth From Falsehood

Each day, you are bombarded by contradictory opinions and ideas about every issue. Contradictory economic ideas. Contradictory religious ideas. Contradictory political ideas. Your job is to sort through all these ideas and figure out, which ones are the true and which ones are the false.

You need to be able to distinguish truth from falsehood.

Which is not easy; since you have also been told that you should, “judge not” and that you should “keep an open mind”.

If you need to distinguish true ideas from false ones, how would you do that?

Chris: As a free-thinker I say "Amen" to your post! Your last sentence said: "Find the one in many." Did you know that Dr. Leonard Peikoff had a lecture at Ford Hall Forum in 2001 with the title, "The One in the Many: How to Create It and Why"?
