Great advice. I will certainly try and incorporate these principles. The problem with being a freelancer however is that things tend to be "feast or famine." Either so many client inquiries you have too turn people away...or those endless days and weeks waiting for the phone to ring.

That's interesting... Have you ever tried to see if there a pattern to this? Meaning, certain times of the year or month are busier than others? Or you get more inquiries after writing certain kinds of posts/articles? Even if it all seems random, it may not be. If you can figure it out then you can come to anticipate (more or less) whether a given time will be "feast or famine" then can act accordingly, and hopefully smooth things out a bit...
