Great tips Miranda. I work for a couple of companies in USA (I'm in Ireland) and I get paid via Paypal which is great. Something to bear in mind though is the payment method to Paypal as if a "check" then it takes longer to clear - it has taken up to 10 days for me sometimes - plus the beneficiary can suffer the charges.

Another option is the simple foreign bank transfer in a different currency - it can take a couple of days (same as paypal normally) - leaves the payers account in their currency and arrives in the beneficiaries account in theirs.
