On Being Laid Off

Those of you who are regular readers know that I work in the High Tech industry at a large telecommunications company, that was until Wednesday July 30th, when my position there was declared redundant and I was given a severance package.

I'm sorry to hear about this, bigcajunman, but think many others in this community can probably relate to your plight and have, at one time or another, shared it. My hope is that other members of the community will reach out to you too and perhaps share some helpful information and options in these difficult days.
