Anyone who has started their own contracting business in a specialized area--say SEO, online marketing etc.--has probably experienced this to some degree, but it's certainly different then working on a similar project in-house. I know people who have been in that in-house position where it can also be frustrating having to divide time amongst multiple projects within your department. Specialization is becoming less of a reality in any of these cases.
