Do you agree with Harvard that international people are more creative?

The more exposure you get to different situations, problems, scenarios and cultures the more enhanced and creative your ability to solve problems will be. Bicultural individuals scored higher than monoculturals on the different tests carried out which, as the professors put it, is good for companies.

Well, I do live abroad (14 years now), but have to admit I only fit one of the criteria. I am creative, I'll admit that, but I am terrible at solving problems, would manage a major company into the ground, am usually passed over for promotion because I'm too rebellious and lone-wolfish, and the only new product I could ever create would probably be a pet-rock...oh crap, that's been done...how about a pet tweezer.

I love it Catarina, as long as it doesn't become thought of as some sort of prerequisite. Some of the most creative people i can think of were masters of their art long before they traveled, if they traveled. I love the idea of a single human race above all - we'll be stronger & better for it.

I've noticed that many of the successful people in the creative and entertainment world have had a variety of international experiences before they were ever successful, so this doesn't surprise me at all.
