Franchising is another great way to get into the thick of business. If you are not up to going through the hassles and stress of conceptualizing and standardizing , then getting into a franchise is the best thing for you. But don't get into franchise without investigating the legitimacy of the franchise and franchisors should be able to inform you of their business model, total investment and support programs.

Hi Warren,

As Franchise King Joel Libava often points out, franchise ownership is a very different kind of business ownership than operating a business you've started yourself. The question often is whether franchising is a good fit for the individual. I think even these items are a good gauge of whether you see yourself as a franchise owner.

Heather - correct. Fit is absolutely a critical element. As individuals move through the due diligence process they also see if they are willing (and able) to follow the systems and procedures developed by the franchisor. Thanks for your comment.
