I would have thought that franchises would be better off having a model that can make profits for their franchisees. And focus on demonstrating it.
Your blog post makes a really great point. If you're a franchisor and you can really attract franchise buyers based on price, do you want them? It's a long term relationship after all and both parties need to be thinking long term, surely.
