Probably the most important thing to remember about all this is that the idea here is to offer more value without it actually costing you more. This is not about cheating the customer, of course, as this post points out, but rather about adding perceived value, something that increases the value of your existing product to your customer. It need not be something expensive on your end, just valuable on theirs.
