I agree, at least my heart agrees with you..but in reality I've had to do one too many caffeine-saturated nights to please clients, and frankly, if I hadn't done so, I would have lost their business. I think this good advice needs to be tempered with the judgment and experience to know when that kind of honesty will work, and when you might just have an unreasonable situation that you need to keep, at least until you have the luxury of a better situation. Being over the barrel inhibits honesty--and that's the honest truth.
