I think you need a mix of word of mouth marketing online and offline. What's WOMMA's take on this report?

The shift to the Web is gradual, but it is definitely taking place. You can hide your head in the sand - sure. The question is, do you want to be left behind, or do you want to be part of the portion of the conversation taking place online?

Also, there's no way to tell how much the online WOM "expands upon" the offline WOM and helps it spread, and vice versa. The 2 are intertwined.
