The FTC's new disclosure standard considerably tightens the requirements for disclosure statements for online advertisements, ads and reviews. Also, if you're posting anything on a social media platform, that specifically requires disclosure, too.

The new regs have been all over the place recently and how important they will be to how social media marketers regularly do things remains to be seen. There seem to be some unanswered questions about the particulars, but I want to thank David Leonhardt for sharing this excellent post with the BizSugar community.
